i went in for a LASIK consultation and the doctor told me that i don't even need to wear glasses. he said that i have "super vision" and that i can see two lines below 20/20. i tried going a day without my glasses, but i kind of like my super vision.

steve went in and was going to get it done, but his cornea's are too thin. boo.

what are we going to do with our msa now?
at least i get to keep looking at my hot husband in his glasses. people say that he looks different
with his glasses,
without his glasses,
with a hat,
without a hat...
like a different person different.
it's all good to me.

i've got the supervision and my own personal superman. ♥ ya hwanb.

2011 project

i've been happy with the other photography projects i've done. i'm glad i have them and will treasure them always.

this (i have all the pictures, but still need to finish it) and this.

i'm not gonna lie though. it was difficult to get a shot each and every day. and most of them were just snapshots so i could fill it in for the day. there were very few that i would consider soul-stirring or wall-worthy. and i'm a photographer?!

well.
this year my photography project is to take a picture of each boy every week that is a picture perfect portrait. then i'm going to write a little love note. see it here. when the year is done, i'll have it printed and bound here.

i took this picture a little while ago and want to post it to remember my sweet class. these kids are so cute and i love each of them! steve just called to be a teacher in that class as well! i am so happy.

anniversary dinner

steve and i were able to get out to watch a movie and then came home to a gourmet dinner for our anniversary. it seriously was one of the best meals of my life! and i'm not just saying that to say it. everything was perfection. this gal can cook! and we're just lucky enough to be friends with them. thanks bendsay for the babysitting, cooking, and company! ♥

i hesitate showing these pictures because they do not do the food justice. i did learn a lot with how i want to photograph food though. #1 tip to remember: calm down the bokeh. sheesh. anyway, i'm looking into taking a studio lighting class later this month and maybe after i get a few skills, i can convince lindsay and ben for a redo. :)
